THE VENUE
The King's Theatre boasts a 312-seat professional setting for a wide range of shows, screenings and performances. Set within the stunning Thorpe Underwood Estate on the outskirts of York, the venue features free on-site parking and good transport links.

OUR EXCITING 2026-2027 SEASON
Our forthcoming theatre season features an exciting and varied programme. As well as hosting our in-house QE Productions, we're thrilled to announce a series of visiting professional performances across the year. Following the huge success of our outdoor theatre performances last year, we're looking forward to announcing open air productions visiting in 2027.

GET INVOLVED
At King's Academy, students work with industry professionals to develop skills in all areas of the performing arts industry including acting, singing and dancing.
King's Academy is open to all 5-11 year olds.
Our new repertory company is here!
Our next production will be announced shortly! New cast members are welcome to join our growing company for rehearsals in September.
