The King's Theatre is a modern multi-purpose venue equipped with excellent lighting and sound facilities. Our fully trained and experienced Technical Team are able to provide full technical support from small-scale meetings to major auditorium events.

More Information:

QE Enterprises is the commercial arm of Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate and The King's Theatre. It aims to maximise the use of QE’s extensive and state-of-the-art facilities outside the hours of school usage and term time, as a leading training and performance centre in the North of England.

Welcome to our 23/24 season

It is with great pleasure that we share the current season at the King’s Theatre.

Our aim this year is to make live performance accessible to everyone – to our amazing QE family and friends but also to the wider community.

The King’s Theatre is a venue that celebrates the work of QE students but also professionals from around the country and its doors are open to all.

There is something for everyone: family theatre, live music, open air performances, QE student work and our annual Gym and Dance event.
